How to Connect Analogue Cameras to a MaxxOne Hawk Recorder

In this video we will be connecting an analogue camera to a DVR.

Step By Step Guide

1. After installing your analogue camera, plug the BNC connector attached to the camera into the BNC port on your pre-terminated cable.

2. You push the connector into the BNC port on your cable and then twist it into place to ensure a firm connection.

3. Now plug the DC connector into the DC port on your pre-terminated cable.

4. Next, plug the opposite BNC end of the pre-terminated cable into an available camera port on the back of your recorder. Twist it into place to ensure a firm connection.

5. Once done, plug the opposite DC end of the pre-terminated cable into a power supply.

6 We can now connect the recorder to the provided power supply. (This is a separate power supply to the one used with the camera.)

7. Connect your recorder to your router using an Ethernet cable.

Please note: You will also need to connect your recorder to a monitor using either HDMI or VGA connection.
